Hon. Gifty Twum-Ampofo, popularly known as Hajia Kande, the Member of Parliament for Abuakwa North Constituency and former Deputy Minister of Education in charge of Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET), has called on the people of Abuakwa North to build on the progress made under the Nana Akufo-Addo and Dr. Bawumia administration by voting overwhelmingly for Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia as President and Nana Kwame Addo Ampaw Frempong, popularly known as Chief Buffalo, as Member of Parliament in the upcoming 2024 general elections.

During a mini rally in Akyem Tafo on August 22, 2024, as part of the New Patriotic Party’s ongoing campaign, Hon. Twum-Ampofo highlighted the significant strides in infrastructural development, particularly in education, within the constituency. She pointed out the unprecedented construction of new school buildings, the provision of learning materials, and logistical support, which have greatly enhanced educational opportunities in the area.

In addition to educational improvements, Hon. Twum-Ampofo noted that institutions in the constituency have also benefited significantly from the government, with ongoing and unprecedented road construction projects across the region, reflecting the government’s commitment to infrastructure development.

She passionately urged the people to vote in large numbers for Dr. Bawumia and Chief Buffalo, emphasizing that their leadership would continue to bring substantial humanitarian and developmental projects to the region. She called on all constituents to rally behind the New Patriotic Party as they head into the 2024 general elections, ensuring that the progress achieved so far is sustained and expanded.
