Accra, 27th May 2024 – The Ghana Education Service (GES) has interdicted three officials from Somè Senior High School, Volta Region, due to an ongoing investigation into the alleged theft of free SHS food items. The officials, Bursar Richard Ametorxe, Matron Yorm Dzikumu, and Storekeeper Alex Obuadi, have been suspended with immediate effect. They are required to hand over their duties to the Headmaster. An investigative committee has two weeks to report its findings to GES management.
