Magajia HAUSAWA Ga West and former National Democratic Congress (NDC) Parliamentary Hopeful for Amasaman Constituency in the Greater Accra Region of Ghana, Hajia Mariam Mohammed, has admonished Ghanaians especially Muslims to forgive each other and build a united front for socio-economic development of the country.

She posited that, Islam is noted for peace and as this year’s Ramadan begins, it’s incumbent on all individuals, Muslims, Traditional and Religious Leaders to forgive one another as enshrined in the Holy Quran to foster peace in unity for development.

“Islam is a peaceful religion and as we begin this year’s Ramadan, I entreat all Ghanaians especially Muslims, Traditional and Religious Leaders to forgive one another and in unity we can build the Ghana we all want.” Hajia Mariam Mohammed admonished.

She further urged all Magajias across the country to besiege Allah in prayers this Ramadan for peace before, during and after this year’s general elections and select a listening, God fearing and development oriented president for the country.

The Crescent for the Month of Ramadan 1445/2024 has been sighted in Saudi Arabia on Sunday 10th March, 2024 hence, first Ramadan 1445 will be Monday 11th March, 2024.
