Nana Kwame Ampaw Addo Frempong, widely recognized in political circles as Chief Buffalo and the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) Parliamentary Candidate for Abuakwa North Constituency, has set an ambitious target for the upcoming 2024 general elections. Speaking at a rally in Akyem New Tafo, Chief Buffalo projected that the NPP would secure 70% of the valid votes cast in the constituency.
Addressing party activists, Chief Buffalo emphasized the need for an intensified campaign effort, urging all members to remain vigilant and proactive. Reflecting on past elections, he highlighted the importance of learning from the party’s experiences in 2008 and called for a renewed commitment to ensure a decisive victory.
“We cannot afford to be complacent this time. With the overwhelming support and respect we’ve received today, I am committed to doing everything within my power to guarantee that the NPP secures at least 70% of the votes in the upcoming elections,” Chief Buffalo declared.
These comments were made during a visit by the NPP’s flagbearer, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, and a delegation of party officials to Akyem Tafo. The visit was part of the party’s broader campaign strategy, which focuses on engaging with local communities and addressing their concerns in the lead-up to the 2024 elections.
