Hon Joseph Opare also known as Nana Birdman, reagent of Kibi Pano, Assemblyman of Pano-sawmill Electoral Area and CEO of Simple Birdman Foundation has been conferred with honorary doctorate degree of humanity by Rev David Clergy Council on Saturday 16th Match, 2024 at Amoakoa Hotel, Kyebi Pano, Abuakwa South Municipality of the Eastern Region of Ghana.
Bishop Dr David Akakpo, International President of Rev David Clergy speaking to the press at the sideline of the event explained that, the council identifies people who are making impact in their respective communities and subsequently award them.
He continued that, this gesture is to motivate Hon Joseph Opare to continue his humanitarian services in the community and encourage others to emulate him for socio-economic well being of the people.
Bishop Dr David Akakpo posited that, it is always prudent to award people whilst alive than making it posthumously.
Hon Joseph Opare on his part, emphasized the importance of helping the vulnerable and said, each and every well meaning individual should show kindness through giving and building others capacity to make the world a better place.
He further extended his appreciation to Rev David Clergy Council for the honour done him and added that, the gesture is going to grease his elbows to do more.
Present at the event were, Hon Otis Asante, Abuakwa South NPP Constituency Chairman, Traditional Heads, family of Hon Joseph Opare, the general public and the media.
