On Saturday, 9th March, 2024, the regional leadership of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) had the privilege to meet the National Executives of our sister party in Nigeria, All Peoples Congress (APC). The historic meeting was chaired by the NPP National Chairman, Mr. Stephen Ayesu Ntim, and in attendance was the 17 Eastern Regional Executives led by Chairman Jeff Konadu Addo, all 33 Constituency Chairmen, and Mr. Kyirekyie, Director of External Affairs, NPP met it’s compatriots from Nigeria’s APC to strengthen ties.

The two Centre-Right political parties discussed plethora of issues amongst them was in relation to how the NPP can maintain power with its new candidate, VP Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia just as APC did in the last Nigerian General Election, 2023.

Chairman Jeff Addo while welcoming the Nigerian fellows detailed the plans put in place to rescue the lost seats in the region.

The Nigeria delegation comprised of;

  6. Abba Umar Gauduje Executives Director of Rural Electrification Agency
  7. Ngozi Sylvanus – Senior Special Assistant to the National Chairman on women mobilization
  8. Edwin Olofu Chief Press Secretary to the National Chairman

Mr. Abdullahi Umar Gauduje PhD – National Chairman, also in turn shared the successes so far of the APC and as well with the challenges they are facing.
