The Chairman of the New Juaben South National Democratic Congress (NDC) Constituency, Mr. Salasi Amuzu, has called on the youth to support and promote the 24-hour economy policy advocated by the NDC’s flag bearer, H.E. John Dramani Mahama. He emphasized that this policy presents viable economic solutions and encouraged the youth to actively participate in the NDC campaign, whether they are in public transport, cars, local eateries, or any other commercial spaces.
Mr. Amuzu criticized the current administration led by President Nana Akufo-Addo, accusing it of economic mismanagement and corruption. He urged the youth to vote overwhelmingly for the NDC in the upcoming elections on December 7, 2024, to rescue Ghana from the current government’s mismanagement.
Highlighting the rising youth unemployment, Mr. Amuzu encouraged young people to take control of their destinies and lead the charge in voting out the New Patriotic Party (NPP) government. He stressed that the NDC is committed to fostering growth and development in the country.
Mr. Amuzu pointed to issues such as food inflation and the high cost of living as key indicators of the need for a change in leadership. He asserted that it is time to hand over the political mantle to the NDC for a better and more prosperous Ghana.
These comments were made during Mr. Amuzu’s participation in the NDC national women’s wing campaign trip to various market centers in Koforidua, including New Juaben Serwaa Market, Central Market, and Krobo Junction Market, as well as other commercial areas in the New Juaben North Constituency on 20th June, 2024.
