ER NPP CONGRATULATES HON. KOFI AHENKORAH MARFO ON HIS DEPUTY MINISTERIAL APPOINTMENT

The New Patriotic Party (NPP) congratulates Hon. Kofi Ahenkorah Marfo (MP for Achiase Constituency) on his appointment as Deputy Minister designate for Trade and Industry.

This is a meritorious elevation that satisfies the heart and desires of the masses for which the party appreciates the President, H. E. Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo for.

Hon. Kofi Marfo has demonstrated competence and exceptional leadership on both political and corporate fronts, rising through the ranks with dedication, diligence and loyalty. As member of Parliament, he has brought significant development to his constituency and tangible improvement in the lives of his constituents in a relatively short period. His sterling performance at the Privileges committee and also Roads and Transport Committee in parliament remains top-grade and highly admirable.

Hon. Kofi Marfo has served the NPP with integrity and selflessness, occupying the position of Chairman for Achiase Constituency and Chairman of Chairmen in the Eastern region for several years; a staunch member and financier of the Eastern Regional Communications team from the challenging days in opposition. In this regard, the party in the Eastern region is solidly behind him and wish to affirm our confidence in him to excel in this new role.

It is our noble wish that he goes through the constitutionally mandated vetting process in parliament smoothly and obtains unanimous approval from both sides of the divide.

Once again, congratulations to Hon. Kofi Ahenkorah Marfo.

Thank you.
