The 2024 Presidential Candidate of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, commenced his campaign tour of the Eastern Region by unveiling a vibrant blue bus branded with his image and slogan “It’s Possible.”
Accompanied by his campaign team, led by Campaign Manager Frederick Opare-Ansah, Dr. Bawumia opted for a commercial bus over his usual V8s for campaign activities.
His tour kicked off in Akropong, Akuapem North Municipality, where he engaged with Party supporters and local leaders, including a breakfast meeting with clergy and Muslim communities at Grace Presby Church.
Continuing his day tour, he’s scheduled to interact with market women, taxi drivers, students in Koforidua, and engage with the Regional House of Chiefs to convey his campaign messages.
In a press statement by Dennis Miracles Aboagye, Director of Communications for the campaign, Dr. Bawumia’s nationwide tour aims to engage various stakeholders, emphasizing his track record of integrity, discipline, and innovative solutions over the past eight years.
The campaign team encourages Ghanaians to warmly welcome Dr. Bawumia, highlighting his commitment to addressing Ghana’s challenges and offering practical solutions if elected as President in the upcoming December elections.
The months ahead will witness an intense campaign by Dr. Bawumia, focused on presenting bold solutions and outlining his vision for Ghana’s future, aiming to engage voters and offer a clear choice leading up to the elections.
