Dr. Lord Emmanuel Yamoah, hailing from the close-knit community of Akoon in Tarkwa Nsuaem Municipality, has dedicated his life to making a difference. His pivotal role in drafting a landmark bill to combat gender-based violence showcased his expertise in victim support services and legal protections.
Beyond national initiatives, Dr. Yamoah remained grounded in grassroots activism, volunteering at shelters, organizing food drives, and mentoring social workers. His efforts were recognized with the International Human Rights Personality Impact Award 2023.
