We the youth of Krobo land have noticed with grave concern, the various press releases and conferences aimed at endorsing certain personalities for the Vice Presidential Candidate slot.
Article 13 clause 3 of the New Patriotic Party’s Constitution articulated clearly that the Flagbearer in consultation with National Council shall nominate the running mate and therefore it is important that we all respect that clause and give the Flagbearer the free will to nominate the person who can well partner him for victory 2024.
The Flagbearer if allowed, we believe he will settle on the lawmaker from Abetifi Constituency and Minister for Agriculture, Bryan Acheampong(PhD) considering his love and support for this party over the years.
He has done a lot for this party and this has catched the attention of the rank and file of the party as one person who will always devote his time and support the party with the needed resources.
We want to reemphasize that the decision must be left for the Flagbearer to make instead of forcing his hands as against his wish for the suitable person to partner him in his ambition.
Many names have surface after the Flagbearer election in November last year but out of the lots, Hon. Dr. Bryan Acheampong stands tall as he always has his eyes on the Orphan Constituencies. Dr. Bryan Acheampong believes that no Constituency should remain orphan and we are happy with his vision and appreciate his support for the orphan Constituencies. As people from Orphan Constituencies, we are happy that for the first time we have someone who is more concerned about our welfare and the need for us to work hard and convert these orphan Constituencies to safe seats for the New Patriotic Party.
Dr. Bryan Acheampong is an industrious person and his vision alone can bring together and unite the youth front for the December general election.
