Chieftaincy feud between two royal Gates at Sampa, Samodua and Afia Takyiwaa, in the Jaman North Municipality of the Bono Region of Ghana has allegedly resulted in the death of two persons on the 29th March, 2024

According to a reliable source, the clash came as a result of the Afia Takyiwaa Royal Gate distributing letters to the cashew companies in Sampa to enable them collect cashew tolls.

During the process at one of the cashew companies near Savanna Hotel, some of the workers there belonging to the Samodua Royal Gate refused to take the letter stating that their bosses were not around to receive the letter.

This resulted in hot altercations between the subjects of the Afia Takyiwaa and the Samodua Royal Gate leading to firing of gunshots.

Unconfirmed reports indicate that, two (2) persons have been killed while others have sustained serious injuries.
