Kumasi, Ghana – Renowned Ghanaian actor Kwadwo Nkansah, widely known as Lil Win, has been granted bail by the Asokore Mampong District Court. The court set the bail at GH₵50,000 with two sureties. Lil Win is expected to reappear in court on June 27, 2024.
The arrest follows a tragic incident involving the actor earlier today. While on a radio tour promoting his latest movie, “A Country Called Ghana,” Lil Win was involved in an accident that resulted in the death of a 3-year-old child.
The Manhyia Divisional Police Command detained Lil Win immediately after he was discharged from the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital, where he received medical attention following the accident.
The incident has cast a shadow over the promotional activities for his new film, with the court case expected to draw significant public attention in the coming weeks.
