On 27th April, 2024, members of MarkYolo’s Care, a student group advocating for mental health, set out on a mission to raise awareness and support in villages near Mankranso of the Atwima Nwabiagya North District of the Ashanti Region, Ghana.
However, their journey took a frightening turn when their vehicle flipped after hitting a series of potholes.
Miraculously, all members survived, though with injuries requiring hospitalization. MarkYolo’s Care now appeals for aid to overcome this setback and continue their vital work promoting mental well-being.
This incident underscores their resilience and commitment to their cause, emphasizing the importance of mental health support for both their community and themselves.
