Accra, Ghana – July 12, 2024: The Social Security and National Insurance Trust (SSNIT) has announced the termination of its plans to divest 60% of its stake in hotels. This decision was disclosed in a media release signed by Elizabeth Akua Ohene, a representative of SSNIT.
The Board and Management of SSNIT assured pensioners, contributors, and the general public of their commitment to prudently manage the affairs of the Trust. The objective remains to ensure the sustainability of the Pension Scheme.
SSNIT remains focused on its core mission of providing social security protection to workers in Ghana and enhancing the sustainability of the Pension Scheme for the future.
