Bunso, Eastern Region, Ghana – On June 17, 2024, Bunso Eco Park, in collaboration with Perfect Herbal Hospital, organized a health walk and medical screening event to celebrate Eid-Ul-Adha. The event aimed to promote health and wellness among the community, drawing hundreds of participants.
The health walk began at the Nsutam Roundabout and concluded at Bunso Eco Park, providing a scenic and invigorating route for all involved. Participants enjoyed the exercise, fostering a sense of community and wellbeing.
The medical screening offered a comprehensive range of health checks. Attendees were able to get their vitals checked and were screened for conditions such as hepatitis, hypertension, diabetes, anemia, and sexually transmitted infections, among others.
Dr. Perfect, CEO of Perfect Herbal Hospital, emphasized the significance of regular exercise in maintaining a robust immune system and overall health. He encouraged individuals to prioritize their health by scheduling routine medical check-ups for early detection and timely treatment of potential health issues.
Mr. Kenneth Asare Frempong, Manager of Bunso Eco Park, highlighted the park’s commitment to the health and happiness of its visitors. He explained that the health walk and medical screening were organized to coincide with the Eid-Ul-Adha holiday, which also fell on International Father’s Day this year.
“Bunso Eco Park is the number one spot for happiness, and as we bring joy to our customers, it is very important to also provide for their health needs with exercise and medical screening,” Mr. Frempong stated.
He also announced that Bunso Eco Park has a series of exciting events planned for this year’s Ohum Festival, inviting everyone to visit and enjoy the best of amusement and recreation.
Formerly known as Bunso Arboretum, Bunso Eco Park is located in the Eastern Region of Ghana, south of the town of Bunso. Established in 1935 by two British men, it has since been developed into a premier recreational park by Ghanaians in collaboration with the Ministry of Tourism, Ghana.
