In preparation for the upcoming December general elections, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the vice president and flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), will kick off his nationwide campaign on Monday, April 29, 2024.
The campaign, starting in the Eastern Region, will span all sixteen regions over the next month. Bawumia’s itinerary includes meetings with various stakeholders such as traditional leaders, clergy, youth, traders, farmers, students, and visits to businesses including marketplaces for direct engagement.
Ghanaians are encouraged to warmly receive Dr. Bawumia during his tour, with the campaign highlighting his track record of integrity, discipline, and solutions-oriented approach, contrasting it with his main opponent’s tenure.
The statement underscores Bawumia’s commitment to addressing Ghana’s challenges if elected president in December 2024.
